3-Year (6-Semester) Part Time-M.Tech (CS) - Working Professionals Programme 2013-2016
The M.Tech (CS) Part-time Information Brochure 2013 covers admissions to the 3-year (6-semester) part time M.Tech (CS) programme offered at the Birla Institute of Technology Extension Centre Noida. The programme will commence in July 2013. On the successful completion of the 3-year programme, the students will be awarded the degree of Master of Technology in Computer Science.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / Electrical or equivalent
Or
MCA or M. Sc in Computer Science or equivalent B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE / MCA / equivalent degree in the appropriate disciplines / branches with a first class or minimum 60% marks in average (45% for SC/ST) in graduation / MCA. In case the examining Board does not award a class, the percentage marks in graduation / MCA will be computed as average of marks obtained in all subjects in which candidate has appeared (excluding optional subjects).
2. At least two years working experience after the eligibility of the qualification as mentioned above.

Tentative dates of written exam/interview 6th July’2013, 10.30 AM
Tentative date of admission 8th July’ 2013 onwards
Classes will commence from 20th July 2013 at Noida Campus
How to Apply:
1. To apply for the M.Tech (CS) Part Time programme 2013, eligible candidates must download the application form from our websi te and submi t i t at BIT Noida (Please see Contact details section for address) and:
i) A Crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 2,000/- (General) and Rs.1,200/- (SC/ST) candidates (non – refundable) in favor of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at Noida. (Note: Application Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances)
ii) Send a printout of the completed form along with
• two recent pa s sport size color photographs (one pasted on the form and one attached by clip to the form)
• Photocopies of all marksheets and certificates (see List of Enclosures)
• Demand draft in a stout A4 size envelope by Speed post / a reliable courier (by which the sender may track its movement on internet) to the office of Director, Birla Institute of Technology, A-7, Sector-1, Noida -201301 positively by the due date. Write “Application for M.Tech. (CS) Part Time- 2013” on top of the envelope.
2. Send the printout of the completed form with other required enclosures [see section 3] to the Office of Director, Birla Institute of Technology, A-7, Sector-1, Noida -201301 (U.P.)
