2000 fellowships for SC candidates and 667 fellowships for ST candidates for the year 2013-14
University Grants Commission invites applications for the award of 2000 fellowships for SC candidates and 667 fellowships for ST candidates for the year 2013-14 respectively under Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for SC/ST Candidates to undertake advanced studies and research in Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences in Indian universities & colleges for pursuing full time studies leading to M.Phil/Ph.D degree. This fellowship is applicable only to SC/ST candidates who are not availing of the benefit to JRF of UGC-NET or UGC-CSIR NET.
Selections will be made on the basis of merit. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the fellowship, eligibility, state wise distribution of 2000 fellowships for SC candidates and 667 fellowships for ST candidates may be seen by logging on to the UGC website: www.ugc.ac.in
Applications in the prescribed format may be submitted only through on-line mode latest by one month`s time from the date of publication of the advertisement (non-extendable) by logging in website: www.ugc.ac.in/rgnf
The decision of the Commission with regard to selection of candidates for the award of fellowships shall be final.
