Announcement for Ph.D.Entrance Exam 29th July 2012 (Engineering, Applied Science & Pharmacy)
Ph.D.Entrance exams is scheduled on 29th July, 2012 for the academic session 2012-13.
(A) The Ph.D entrance exam is divided in the TWO sections (Total 150 marks)
Section-I :
1. It is Common & Compulsory for all the candidates.
2. It is of 60 minutes duration & 50 marks.
3. Syllabus for this section touches in general : Research Methodology, Communication Skills, Research Design Data Analysis, Samplings, Surveys, Classifications, Qualitative Research, Quantitative Techniques, Research Agencies, Associations & Causations Research Publications & General Awareness.
Section-II :
1. It is of 120 minutes duration & 100 marks.
2. It is subject specific.
This paper will be divided in to two parts: First Part will be objective type : 25 Marks Second part will have three sections : 75 Marks Nature of questions for Second part will be of Short notes, Long/Descriptive Answers, Numerical, Conceptual questions, Design,Theoretical questions, Short questions with internal option.
