“The Handbook of Information alongwith Admission Form for July session 2012 for Ph.D. Courses under the Board of Research Studies in Social Sciences will be available from 2nd July, 2012 to 31st July, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the office of the Chairperson, BRS (Social Sciences), Faculty of Social Sciences Building, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110007”.

It was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the then Central Legislative Assembly. The President of India is the Visitor, the Vice President is the Chancellor and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India is the Pro-Chancellor of the University.
