Admission 2012 - UG Programmes Bachelor Of Technology (B. Tech.)
Minimum Eligibility Criteria Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary School Leaving Examination (or equivalent), with at least 50% in the aggregate, 50% in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 45% separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Should have appeared for AIEEE, the CEE of the State of Assam, or the Assam Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test (DBU GET). If a candidate has appeared for more than one entrance test, the best normalized score from among these will be considered.
Lateral Entry
A few seats are available for direct admission into the third semester of B Tech for those who have completed B. Sc. (PCM) and for holders of 3-year diploma from government-approved polytechnics, who have pursued an AICTE approved curriculum in an appropriate branch of engineering. They should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (Diploma Holders) and 55% marks (B Sc candidates). They should also appear for the Assam Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test (DBU GET). They will be given admission on the basis of merit in the DBU GET subject to the availability of seats.
The Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test (DBU-GET)
Assam Don Bosco University conduct entrance tests for admission into its Graduate Programmes - DBU-GET. Admission to the B Tech Programme is only through an entrance test. Those who do not appear for AIEEE or CEE of Assam must appear for DBU-GET for B Tech.
