One Day Seminar on Research Avenues And Challenges In Higher Education
Date:‐18th November, 2011 Time:‐9.30am to 5.00pm
Venue :‐ Pherozeshah Mehta Bhavan, Vidyanagari
Kalina Campus, Santacruze, Mumbai
The Heads of University Departments, Directors of Institutes and Principals of affiliated colleges are hereby informed that , University has organized “One day seminar on “RESEARCH AVENUES AND CHALLENGES IN HIGHER EDUCATION” on 18th Nov. 2011. The objective of seminar is to create research awareness to teachers so as to make them to take up challenging research activities in future career. It is expected to have 50 to 60 registrations from each faculty viz. Arts, Science, Commerce and Technology. Registration will be accepted on first come first serve basis. The resource person for seminar are invitees from IIT’s, University of Mumbai and Industry.
The Topics for Seminar are as follows:
1) Research Avenues
2) Research Methodologies
3) Project Grants (Minor /Major) & Funding Agencies
4) Creating Research Culture & Ambience in the Institutes
Parallel Sessions: Four different Halls at Kalina Campus
Date: 18th Nov. 2011. Registration Fees: Rs. 200/‐ (Rs. Two Hundred only, may be paid on same day between Time 9.30am and 10am)
Seminar is open only for bonafied teachers/Research Scholars of the University of Mumbai and its affiliated colleges,Institutes.
