Applications are invited from candidates desirous of seeking admission to diploma courses in the institutions located in Punjab and Chandigarh-UT) affiliated to the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training. Admissions will be made on the basis of inter-se-merit of (JET) Joint Entrance Test to be held on 15th May, 2011
Eligibility – Students who have appeared in matriculation examination or who have already passed the matriculation examination can apply for the JET-2011. However, the candidates who have appeared in the matriculation examination will be eligible for admission only if they are able to pass the matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognised Board.
Processing Fee – Rs. 1000/- (for General Category) and Rs. 750/- (for SC/ST Categories) in the form of cash (only at the bank branches).
Courses offered – Architectural Assistantship, Civil Engg., Chemical Engg., Computer Engg., Electrical Engg., Electronics & Communication Engg., Micro Processors Applications, Electronics & Telecommunication Engg., Fashion Design, Leather Technology (Footwear), Garment Technology (Garment Manufacturing Technology), Information Technology, Production & Industrial Engg., Leather Technology, Library and Information Science, Mechanical Engg., Mechanical Engg. (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning), Medical Lab Technology, Plastic Technology, Textile Technology (Knitting, Weaving & Spinning), Textile Design, Textile Processing, Automobile Engg., Mechanical Engg. (Tool & Die).
