Programming Contest for Association for Computing Machinery-International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM ICPC)
Infosys Campus Connect has been organizing Aspirations 2020 online programming contest across India for the last four years. Aspirations 2020 is a platform for students of colleges to prepare themselves to become Global Professionals. Currently, we are joining hands with Amrita University for ACM ICPC.
The ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is a multi-tier, team-based, programming competition operating under the auspices of ACM and headquartered at Baylor University. The contest involves a global network of universities hosting regional competitions that advance teams to the ACM-ICPC World Finals. Participation has grown to several tens of thousands of the finest students and faculty in computing disciplines at almost 2,000 universities from over 80 countries on six continents. The contest fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programs, and enables students to test their ability to perform under pressure. Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.
Registration:
Online at your college/Home/Internet Cafe. Team size is 3 or 4 students of any year of any branch.
Last date to Register the contest is Sunday, 10th October, 2010.

Online Internet Contest
17th October, 2010-Online at your College/Home/Internet Cafe http://www.amrita.edu/icpc
Expecting about 1500 teams from about 700 institutions across Asia. 180 teams will be short listed. Participant certificates in soft copy form can be downloaded from portal.
Regional Contest
Regional Contest will be held at two sites on 11th & 12th December, 2010 at Amritapuri Campus, Clappana, Kollam, Kerala OR Ettimadai Campus, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu

120 teams at Kerala campus and 60 teams at Coimbatore campus from Asia will participate. 3 or 4 teams will be shortlisted for world finals out of 180 teams. Certificates and prizes will be awarded.
World Finals
March 1st week 2011- Cairo, Egypt. About 100 teams from about 2000 institutions from about 100 countries will compete for top honors.
