NOTIFICATION FOR ADMISSION TO M.COM [INSURANCE AND BANK MANAGEMENT] DEGREE PROGRAMME
Applications are invited for admission to M.Com [Insurance and Bank Management] degree programme for the academic year 2009-10 to be offered at University College, Hampankatta, Mangalore as an Evening Programme (6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.)
Applications form with prospectus may be obtained from The Registrar, Mangalore University, New Administrative Building, Mangalagangothri-574199 or Principal, University College, Mangalore-575 001 or Principal, F.M.K.M.C. College, Madikeri-571 201 or NSS Co-ordinator, Govt. College, Thenkanidiyoor, on payment of Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST and Cat-I on production of Caste Certificate) in person or by post on payment of Rs.350/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST and Cat-I) through Challan/ D.D. in favour of the Finance Officer, Mangalore University along with a self-addressed envelope (40 x 17 cm.) with the name of the course and the subject superscribed on the cover.
Eligibility for Admission: Candidates who have passed the three year B.Com/ B.B.M. degree examination of Mangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto with Accounting/ Finance/ Banking/ Insurance as one of the subjects are eligible for the programme provided they have secured a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/Category- I candidates) marks in aggregate in all the subjects excluding languages and group III subjects.
Note: Those who have already enrolled for a degree programme of this University or any other University are not eligible to apply.
