Award of Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top class Education for SC students (Fresh award for 2009-10)
Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India has a Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for top class Education for SC students whose total family income is less than 2.00 lacs per annum.
The award includes
(a) Full fee & nonrefundable charges
(b) Living expenses as per actual not more than Rs.2200/- Per month.
(c) Books & stationery at the rate of Rupees 3000/- per annum or the actuals whichever, is less.
(d) Latest Computer system with accessories etc. limited to rupees 45,000/- as one time assistance.
10 Scholarships will be awarded to SC students subject to grant of fund from Govt. of India.
Applications are invited in the format available in Office of Dean of Students Welfare for above scholarship from SC students of 1st year B.Tech, Dual degree & Integrated M.Sc/M.Sc.Tech courses alongwith Caste certificate & Income certificate from DM/DC/SDO/ADM/SDM/RDO, only. Copy of Fee receipt paid, One pass port size Photograph, Copy of IIT JEE rank.
Selection will be based on IIT JEE rank
Applications should reach the undersigned latest by 18th Sept, 2009 in the prescribed format available in office of DSW.
