Admission Notice For B. Tech. Courses 2009-10 of DTU (Delhi Region/Outside Delhi Region)
Delhi Technological University has been established by Govt. of Delhi by upgrading the erstwhile Delhi College of Engineering vide Delhi Act 6 of 2009 which has come in force with effect from July 15, 2009 with its notification in the official gazette. DTU is committed to provide updated curriculum, attract best of minds for its faculty, ensure high academic standards and encourage research & innovation in areas of relevance to industry and society. The University is introducing 4 new B. Tech. Programmes namely, Software Engineering, Engineering Physics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Automobile Engineering with the intake of 60 each from the current academic session 2009-10. Out of the total seats, 85% seats meant for the candidates belonging to Delhi region shall be filled on the basis of the merit/rank of the CEE-2009 conducted by Delhi University and 15% seats meant for the candidates belonging to Outside Delhi region shall be filled on the basis of the merit/rank of AIEEE-2009 conducted by the CBSE and declared eligible for counselling. Admissions will be made from amongst those, who will apply on the prescribed form strictly on the basis of Rank of CEE-2009 for Delhi region seats and AIEEE-2009 for outside Delhi region seats. The application form can be obtained from the Reception Counter, Administrative Building, Delhi Technological University, Shahbad Daulatpur, Main Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 in person on all working days from Monday to Friday between 10.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. on submission of a Pay Order or Crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 500/-. OR The application form can be downloaded from the DTU website: www.dce.edu and submitted alongwith a demand draft of Rs. 500/- on or before the last date for receipt of completed application form. The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘Registrar, Delhi Technological University’, payable at ‘Delhi.’
