Admission Notification 2009
Applications are invited for admission to the following courses of this University for July 2009 session. Forms will be available on & form 18/07/2009
1. Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLIS)
Eligibility: Graduate (10+2+3), 45% in Hons. Subjects for Hons. Graduate 50% in aggregate having 3 Subjects for pass Graduate.
2. Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP)
Eligibility: The Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years on 1st July 2009, i.e. those who
were born after 30th June 1991 are not eligible to apply.
3. Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication (PGDJMC)
Eligibility: Graduate of any Recognized University
4. Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising (PGDPR&Ad.)
Eligibility: Graduate of any Recognized University
5. Post Graduate Diploma in English Language Teaching (PGDELT)
Eligibility: Graduate of any Recognized University
6. Certificate in Human Rights
Eligibility: Passed 10+2 or its equivalent
7. Certificate in English for Communication
Eligibility: Passed 10+2 or its equivalent. Candidates who have passed BPP from NSOU or any other University and pursuing BDP are also eligible.
Besides course fee an amount of Rs.330/- (Rs.100/- for Registration, Rs.100/- for Identity Card and Rs.130/-as annual development fee) is to be paid at the time of admission in each course. Admission may be taken for the above–mentioned courses during office hours at all study Centre.
List of Study Centres and all the information regarding the University will be available in website www.wbnsou.com.
Last date of submission of filled in application form together with requisite fees at study centers is 16.08.2009 without late fee and 23.08.2009 with late fee of Rs.50/-.
