Availability of Seats: For the B.A. LL.B. 5 years course commencing in July 2009, 80 seats are available in the following categories:-
(a) Wards of Army Personnel 64
(b) Residents of Punjab 12
(c) All India General Category 04
Total 80
Eligibility:
The eligibility criteria for admission to AIL is given in detail in the prospectus of the Institute which is likely to be available in Apr/May 2009. Eligibility criteria in brief is given below
(a) Candidate should have passed or appeared in 10+2 exam with 45% Marks at the time of applying for admission to AIL.
(b) Candidate should not have completed the age of 21 years on 1st Jul 2009
(c) Category certificate is required to be submitted while applying for admission to AIL
Admission to the BA LL.B 5 years course at AIL is made on the basis of the rank obtained in the Common Entrance Test (CET Law), Punjab. All the applicants who wish to join AIL are, therefore, required to appear in CET Law, Punjab (2009) which will be conducted by a University nominated by the Punjab Govt
