The common Entrance Test will be conducted as per schedule given below.
M.Sc Microbiology
Date: 07 June 2009, Sunday
Time: 11 am - 12 noon
M.Sc Biotechnology
Date: 07 June 2009, Sunday
Time: 1 pm - 2 pm
M.Sc Chemistry
Date: 07 June 2009, Sunday
Time: 4 pm - 5 pm
Application forms for common entrance test will be available from date of advertisement at Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Sub center Osmanabad during office hours on payment of Rs.50/- in cash. The form is also available on website: http://www.bamu.net at the link Admission/CET The entrance test examination fees is Rs.200/- for open category and Rs. 100/- for reserved category per candidate; to be paid in cash or through Demand Draft in favor of The Registrar, Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Sub center Osmanabad, Payable at Osmanabad. [For online downloaded application form, the candidate should pay Rs. 250/- for open category and Rs. 150/- for reserved category as entrance examination fee in cash or through Demand Draft in favor of as mentioned above].
Last date for submission of application form is 05 Jun 2009 upto 5.00 pm.
Eligibility:
A) For Microbiology: B.Sc. with Microbiology as one of the optional subject or appeared for March/April 2009 examination.
B) For Biotechnology: B.Sc. with Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology & Life Sciences as one of the optional subject or appeared for March/April 2009 examination.
C) For Chemistry: B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the optional subject or appeared for March/ April 2009 examination.
Admission: Admission will be given by considering 50% performance of aggregate marks obtained in said subject in B.Sc.degree & 50 % performance of CET marks in Chemistry OR Microbiology subject; While, in Biotechnology subject, admission will be based on 50% performance of aggregate marks obtained in B.Sc.degree & 50 % performance of CET marks. Also, admission will be given as per reservation norms. Candidates should submit separate application form for every subject in which he/she desire to seek admission.
