DBT Sponsored M.Phil in Translational Health Sciences (THS) – 2009
M.Phil - THS Program has been initiated to promote State of the Art interdisciplinary research and to create versatile medical scholars with new and broad based area of Specialization in collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. Curriculum of 4 semester course includes tools for translation like new biology, bioinformatics, medical diagnostics, pharmacogenomics, research methodology, regulatory issues etc and will open career avenue in academic and research institutions and biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Candidates selected after all-India competitive examination shall receive stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Eligibility- MBBS/BDS (with supplementary in not more than 1 subject) and completed their internship before 31st July 2009 or M.Sc. (Life Sciences Subjects) with at least 60% marks (55% for OBC/SC/ST candidates).
Reservation- As per Institutional rules.
Application- Free of cost from Research Cell or download from the website www.kgmcindia.edu, to be submitted alongwith processing fee of Rs. 1500/- (DD drawn in favour of “Coordinator, M.Phil-THS Program” payable at Lucknow) in person/post to the Faculty In-charge, Research Cell, Administrative Block, C.S.M.
