Admission Notice 2009-10
Application in prescribed proforma are invited from the eligible candidates for appearing in the competitive test to be held on 21.06.2009 for admission to the Master Degree (only for Domicile of Bihar State)/Ph.D. Programme for the academic session 2009-10 in various disciplines. The application form and prospectus can be downloaded from the appropriate links given below. The application form and prospectus can also be obtained from the office of the Registrar, R. A. U., Pusa from 20.04.2009 to 20.05.2009. Duly filled application form alongwith enclosures be sent through registered post only to the office of the Registrar, RAU, Pusa -848125, Distt.- Samastipur, Bihar so as to reach there on or before 30.05.2009. Application without requisite fee as mentioned below will be rejected. The application fee must be paid in the form of Bank Draft of the Punjab National Bank, in favour of the Comptroller, RAU, Pusa, payable at Punjab National Bank, RAU, Pusa Branch. Cash, Cheque, Postal orders and money order will not be accepted.
For General & other categories:
Master’s Degree (only for Domicile of Bihar State): Rs. 500/-(Rs. five hundred)
Ph.D. Degree: Rs. 700/-(Rs. seven hundred)
For SC & ST categories
Master’s Degree (only for Domicile of Bihar State): Rs. 250/-(Rs. two hundred fifty)
Ph.D. Degree: Rs. 350/-(Rs. three hundred fifty)
Eligibility ( for appearing in Competitive Test)
Master’s Degree (only for Domicile of Bihar State):
(a) For General and other categories: 60% Marks in Bachelor Degree (Agril. / Hort. / B.V.Sc. / Agril. Engg./ Home Science/ B.Sc.(Hons)
(b) For SC & ST: 55 % aggregate
Ph.D. Degree
(a) For General and other categories: 70% marks in subject/ discipline concerned at Master level
(b) For SC & ST: 65% aggregate
