Eligibility: Qualifying Examinations Qualifying examinations for the purpose of admission to the first year of undergraduate courses offered by the University shall be Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
Candidate seeking admission to the courses offered by the University should have passed the qualifying examination obtaining minimum marks as specified for each of the courses in subsequent sections.

Regular Courses
Starting of Sale and Receipt of Application Forms for admission to the colleges: Monday 1st June, 2009 Time Period: 10.00 an to 1.00 pm
Last date for receipt of Application Forms for admission in the colleges: Monday 15th June 2009 Time Period: upto 1.00 pm
Notification of First Admission List by the Colleges: Thursday 25th June 2009 Time Period: 10.00 am
Admission and payment of Fees: Friday 26th June 2009 to Monday 29th June 2009 Time Period: upto 1.00 pm (Excluding Sunday)
Notification of Second Admission List by the Colleges: Tuesday 30h June 2009 Time Period: 10.00 am
Admission and payment of Fees: Wednesday 1st July 2009 to Friday 3rd July 2009 Time period:upto 1.00 pm
Notification of Third Admission List by the Colleges: Saturday 4th July 2009 Time Period: 10.00 am
Admission and Payment of Fees: Monday 6th July 2009 to Wednesday 8th July, 2009 Time Period: upto 1.00 pm
Notification of Fourth Admission List by the Colleges (if any): Thursday 9th July 2009 Time Period: 10.00 am
Admission and payment of Fees: Friday 10th July 2009 to Monday 13th July 209 Time Period: up to 1.00 pm (Excluding Sunday
Admission List in the Evening Colleges will be put up on the Notice board at 4.00 pm
Timing for payment of fees for Evening Colleges Candidates will be from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm
Saturday will be a working day for purpose of payment of fees in all colleges.
Note: No student whose name appears in the admission list (or who qualifies on the basis of the percentage indicated in the list) shall be denied admission provided he/she pays the fees by the stipulated date and time. Subject to availability of seats admission will be made by the Colleges upto 16th August, 2009. (14th & 15th August being Holidays).
No admission to the regular Ist year Under-Graduate Courses shall be made after 16th October, 2009.
Delhi University Helpline: University of Delhi has launched a helpline especially for admissions to undergraduate courses for the session 2009-10. The aspirants for admission to different undergraduates courses in colleges of University of Delhi may contact at 011-27662507, 27662508, 24119832 and 24114634 between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm on working days, for any admission related queries. Besides, admissions seekers may contact the Office of the Dean, Students’ Welfare and E-Mail at dsw@du.ac.in.
