Applications are invited on the prescribed form for admission to the Master of Business Administration (Agribusiness) programme for the Academic Session 2009-10 as per the following details:
I. Seats:
(a) (i) General Seats (for domiciles of Himachal Pradesh only)
Number: 15
Required Written Test and Test Dates: HP-CMAT (To be conducted by the Institute of Management Studies, HPU, Shimla on 6th June, 2009)
(a) (ii) Open Seats
Number: 05
Required Written Test and Test Dates: MAT (To be conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) on 3rd May, 2009 at the national level)
(b)NRI/NRI Sponsored/ Nominees of the Industry/Paid Seats
Number: 20
(i) HP-CMAT for the domiciles of Himachal Pradesh - (15 seats)
(ii) MAT for others - (5 seats)
Note: Based on their performance in the respective written tests, candidates would be shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) to be conducted by this University on 20th and 21st July, 2009 at its Main Campus at Nauni, Solan.
II. Eligibility:
Graduate in any discipline with an OGPA of 5.50/10.00 or its equivalent under course credit system or 55% marks under annual system from a recognized University or degree from Foreign University with atleast ‘B’ grade or its equivalent.
III. Last Date:
Last date for the receipt of complete application form in the office of the Registrar of the University is 22nd June, 2009 without late fee and 29th June, 2009 with a Late fee of Rs. 100/-.
IV. Information Bulletin:
Information Bulletin-cum-Application Form for admission are available from the Registrar, Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan (H.P.)- 173 230 on payment of Rs. 400.00 in cash at counter or by sending bank draft worth Rs.450.00 payable at State Bank of Patiala, Nauni /U Co bank, Nauni in the name of the Comptroller of the University. The application form can also be downloaded from the University website www.yspuniversity.ac.in and sending a bank draft worth Rs. 400/- with the form.
Note:
“Ragging in all its forms is totally banned in the University, and any one found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging is liable to be punished appropriately”.
