M.Tech Admission Process
Admissions to ISiM M.Tech programme is carried out in two cycles.
Cycle: 1
Students with national entrance test scores such as CAT/MAT/GATE/PGCET are considered in Cycle 1.
Important Dates:
Application Deadline: March 31, 2009
Offer Decision: April 15, 2009
Acceptance Decision: May 1,2009
Cycle: 2
Students who do not have any of the above national entrance test scores are required to take up ISiM Entrance Test. These students are considered in Cycle 2.
Important Dates:
Application Deadline : July 28, 2009
ISiM Entrance Test : August 2, 2009
Offer Decision : A Week After
Acceptance Decision : August 10, 2009
Course Start Date : September 1, 2009
Minimum Requirement
BE Graduates or Master Degree Holders (any discipline) or Students with minimum of 4 year under-graduation course
Entrance Test Scores
The following entrance test scores are considered for admissions
CAT Score: Common Admission Test (CAT) scores are considered for admissions.

MAT Score: Management Aptitude Test (MAT) scores are also considered for admissions. MAT is conducted by All India Management Association. More details about MAT can be obtained at http://www.aima-ind.org/mat_general.asp MAT Applicants have to appear for MAT and separately apply to ISiM.
GATE Score: GATE scores are also considered for admissions Please visit http://www.iitk.ac.in/gate/ for more details on GATE. Applicants have to appear for GATE and separately apply to ISiM.
Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) Score PGCET scores are also considered for admissions. Please visit http://pgcet.vtu.ac.in/ for more details on PGCET. Applicants have to appear for PGCET and separately apply to ISiM.
ISiM Entrance Test Score: ISiM Entrance Test is conducted for students who do not have any of the above scores. The ISiM Entrance Test for 2008-2010 is conducted on 17th August 2008 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon at various ISiM Test Centres in the following locations:

Calcutta
Hyderabad
Mumbai
Mysore
New Delhi
