Admission Notice 2009 -10
(1) MBA
Eligibility: Graduate degree in any discipline. Students with work experience will be given preference. Final year students awaiting results may also apply.
Admission Procedure: The MBA programme will initially have an intake of students as approved by the University. Admission would be as per guideline laid down by Uttarakhand Technical University. Admission will be through counseling of Uttarakhand Technical University. The merit list will be drawn in order of the students score obtained in the MAT/CAT examination. Eligible students will need to get themselves registered with DBS, by filling up the prescribed form and paying the registration fee.
(2) MCA
DBS has in its expansion plan applied for approvals to start 3 year MCA programme. The admission notification will be released subsequent to approvals and the admissions will be done based on the result of the common entrance test held by the Uttarakhand Technical University.
(3) MIB (Master in International Business) (Affiliated to HNB Garhwal University)
Selection Process: DBS will form a merit list on the basis of Graduation marks. Admission will be offered to students on the basis of the final merit.
Eligibility: Graduate in any dicipline with any stream and has secured minimum 40% marks in graduation.
(4) BBA Programme (Bachelor of Business Administration)
3 years full time under graduate programme Affiliated to HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Garhwal (Uttarakhand)
Eligibility : Must have passed 10+2 with English as a subject with minimum 45% marks.
Selection Process : Admission are done on the basis of merit of 10+2 marks.
(5) BA (Media & Mass Communication)
3 years full time under graduate programme Affiliated to HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Garhwal (Uttarakhand)
Eligibility: Must have passed 10+2 with English as a subject with minimum 45% marks.
Selection Process: Admission are done on the basis of merit of 10+2 marks.
(6) BCA Programme (Bachelor of Computer Application)
3 years full time under graduate programme Affiliated to HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Garhwal (Uttarakhand)
Eligibility : Must have passed 10+2 with English & Maths as subjects with minimum 45% marks.
Selection Process: Admission are done on the basis of merit of 10+2 marks.
