ADMISSION FOR JANUARY, 2009 SESSION
The Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Food Safety and Quality Management offered by IGNOU in collaboration with Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India, is an innovative Programme having a judicious mix of theoretical and practical course to develop skills in Food Safety & Quality Management.
Eligibility for Admission: Graduation in Science with Chemistry / Biochemistry or Microbiology as one of subjects/Degree in allied sciences like Agriculture/ Food Science/Home Science/Life Science/ Post Harvest Technology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology/ Horticulture/ Dairy Technology/ Veterinary /Fisheries/ Hotel Management and Catering/ Hospitality Management etc. or equivalent.
Duration: One Year.
Medium of Instruction: English.
The Common Prospectus and a supplementary giving details of the Programme can be obtained from the Registrar ( SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110068 and Regional Centers on payment of Rs.100/- either in cash or by IPO/ Demand Draft, drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi or city of regional centre, plus, Rs.50/- towards postal charges if required by post. The filled form must reach to concerned Regional Director by registered post on or before 30th December, 2008.
