Admission Notice 2009
(1) Post Graduate Programme in Management
(2) Post Graduate Programme - Human Resource Management (PGP - HR)
(3) Post Graduate programme in International Management (PGP - IM)
(4) National Management Programme (NMP)
Admission Procedure:-
(1) MDI uses CAT for short listing for all the above programmes.
(2) Appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by th IIMs on Sunday, 16th November, 2008. The last date for obtaining CAT bulletin from select branches is 8th August 2008 and from IIMs is 13th August 2008.
(3) IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
(4) Apply to MDI by filling in a separate application form for each progaramme.
(5) Foreign / NRI applicants can apply by submitting valid GMAT scores (taken not later than October 2008). NRI applicants residing in India during July-December 2008 will have to appear in CAT.
(6) Final selection will be based on the performance in the CAT/GMAT and subsequent group discussions / simulation exercise and personal Interview.

Application Fee:- The MdI Prospectus and Application Form are available on cash payment of Rs. 1600/- (including Application Processing Fee) Applicants wanting to obtain application Form by post will have to send a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 1750. Foreign /NRI applicant can obtain the Application Form bulletin by sending a Demand Draft of either US $100/- or Rs. 4550 or on cash payment of Rs. 4500/- at MDI Counter. The Demand Draft should be in favour of "Management Development Institute" payable at New Delhi, Aong with the Demand Draft , the applicants requesting for application forms by post should also send 2 self addressed stickers with their address and telephone numbers written thereon. The choice of programmes should be written clearly on envelope enclosing the demand Draft. Prospectus once sold will not be taken back.
Eligibility: Minimum of 3 year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities / AICTE as eligible for Post - Graduate Sciences in Management.
Candidates completing all requirements, for obtaining the Bachelor's degree by 30th July 2009 can also apply subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 1st October 2009.
Additional requirement for NMP: Minimum 5 years of Post qualification executive (Class 1 or Officer Grade) work experience is also required.
