Tata Projects have to their credit of erecting India’s first indigenous 500 MW steam generator at Tata Power’s Trombay power plant near Mumbai and country’s first 500 MW steam turbine at NTPC Rihand nagar for NEI Projects, UK. Currently Tata Projects is associated with installation of 500 MW Steam Generators at NTPC-Talcher (unit IV & VI) – Rihand (Unit- III) and Vindhyachal (Unit IX) for BHEL. This was supplemented by the installation of 120 MW & 210 MW steam generators at Cyprus, Jojobera & Neyveli.
