One year Postgraduate Diploma and Three months Executive Course in Disaster Management
The Centre for Defence & National Security Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh is starting one year Postgraduate Diploma and Three months Executive Course in Disaster Management and Security from the academic session 2008-09; the last date for which is 21.7.2008. The one year Diploma course is open to the students having done their Bachelors in any stream with minimum 50% marks. The Executive Course is open to all the government, non-government agencies, armed forces, Para-military forces, elected representatives and media persons holding graduation degree with two years work experience, sponsored by their parent organization. The candidates volunteering for the two courses will be put to practical training to give them firsthand experience in preparing for coordinating various disaster management techniques, security plans, schemes and SOPs. The Centre will be engaging the professionals and the experts specialized in Disaster Management to interact with the students.
