ADMISSION NOTICE FOR B.Ed 2008-2009
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to B.Ed course session 2008-2009 in Department of Education, H.P University, Government College of Teacher Education, Dharamsala and other colleges of Education under self-financing scheme recognized by NCTE and affiliated to H.P University. Out of total available seats 85% of the seats are reserved for bonafide / domicile residents of Himachal Pardesh and 15% to the residents of other states.
Handbook of Information containing admission forms can be had from the office of the Chairman: Department of Education, H.P.U. Shimla from 16.06.2008 to 15.07.2008 on payment of Rs. 275/- at the counter and through registered post by sending crossed Indian Postal Order/Bank Draft of Rs. 350/- payable to the Finance Officer, H.P University, Shimla. Money order shall not be accepted. No Prospectus will be sent by Post after 05.07.2008
Handbook of Information will also be available at selected Branches of H.P State Cooperative Bank, Kangra Central Cooperative Bank and Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank through its various branches in the State of Himachal Pardesh. The Bank will charge a sum of Rs. 25/- over and above the cost of HBI as bank service charges.
The Last Date for the receipt of Admission forms complete in all respects in the office of the Chairman: Department of Education is 15.07.2008.
The admission will be made on basis of the marks obtained in BA/B.Sc/B.Com examination of any University established by law in India. Only those candidates who appear for counselling will be selected and alloted colleges on the basis of their preference subject to the availability of the seats in the College of their choice.
