Rajasthan Management Admission Test-2008 for admission to two year MBA
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Academic: The candidates must possess Graduate (10+2+3) degree or equivalent from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates), without any approximation in the Graduate Examination. However, the candidate appearing for the qualifying examination (Graduate Degree) in 2008, will also be permitted to appear in the admission test but their admission will be provisional subject to furnishing the mark sheet of qualifying examination (with the prescribed eligibility) by 31st July 2008 to the Coordinator, RMAT-2008. Final year appearing students are required to submit a certificate from college/institution (Cerfiticate-1).
Domicile: The RMAT-2008 is open to the candidates of Rajasthan domicile only. The domicile status of Rajasthan of any candidate will be ascertained as per any one of the following criteria.

FEE FOR RMAT-2008:
(a) The cost of form (Rs. 1000/-) includes the fee for RMAT 2008 and candidate is not required to pay any additional amount with application form.
(b) The fee deposited for RMAT-2008 is neither refundable nor transferable nor adjustable for future RMAT.
(c) A plea that the candidate failed to receive the information for appearing at the RMAT-2008 will not be accepted as a ground for the refund of fee or any other dues.
LIST OF BRANCHES OF PNB FOR SALE OF APPLICATION FORMS
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM:
The application form, duly filled in candidate’s own handwriting shall be submitted through any one of the following modes so as to reach the office on or before 5 P.M. on 15-05-2008.
(1) By Registered/Speed Post (not by courier in any case) to
Coordinator, RMAT-2008,
Rajasthan Technical University,
Rawatbhata Road, Kota (Raj.) – 324022
(2) In the drop box placed at the RMAT office
In no case, it should be handed over to any person. No other institute/agency is authorized to collect the form on behalf of RMAT.
ENCLOSURES:
Following enclosures are to be submitted along with the application form:
1 Proof of domicile of Rajasthan. (Any one of the Certificate 2 (i) to 2 (iv). The relevant certificate shall be used by tearing of from the brochure)
2 An attested copy of Certificate / Mark sheet of High School / Secondary bearing Date of Birth of the candidate.
3 An attested copy of Certificate / Mark sheet of Senior Secondary (10+2).
4 An attested copy of Mark sheet of Graduation (10+2+3) Examination, as a proof of having passed the qualifying examination. (If you have already passed the qualifying examination).
5 Final year appearing students must submit Certificate-1 from the head of the institute (The relevant certificate shall be used by tearing of from the brochure).
6 Candidates applying against reserved seats must submit sufficient documentary proof in support of their claim. (Certificate 3 to 6 )
7 Self Addressed Acknowledgement Card (Stamped with Rs. 6/-).
8 Self Addressed Deficiency Card (Stamped with Rs. 6/-).
9 Two self-addressed envelopes (4” X 9”) (unstamped)
Instructions
The candidate appearing in Rajasthan Management Admission Test-2008 for admission to two year MBA course for the session 2008-2009 must note the following carefully before filling application form.
1. The application form, which you will be filling and mailing to us, is a specially designed form. Therefore, it should be filled very carefully and neatly, and according to the detailed instructions given in this brochure.
2. Last date for submitting completed form is 10th May, 2008.
3. Students in the final year of graduation are required to submit their proof of completing graduation to the Coordinator, RMAT-2008 on or before 31st July 2008, failing which their admission is liable to be cancelled.
4. Tentative list of institutions covered by RMAT-2008 is provided in this brochure. Any addition/ deletion in the above list will be updated on the RMAT website before counseling.
5. Any further directives and guidelines issued by Government of Rajasthan from time to time will be binding on all management institutions and the candidates.
6. This year admission will be done through online counseling.
7. Candidates are advised to keep photocopy of filled application form and OMR.
8. Candidates are advised to keep with them two additional photograph (same as pasted on application form).
Note: Application form must be filled with black ball pen only (use HB pencil for marking bubbles).
