How To Apply:
The candidates may apply in the form downloadable at http://pgimer.nic.in together with requisite fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400/- in case of SC/ST candidates) by Demand Draft in the name of Director, PGI. The prescribed application forms alongwith prospectus (Brochure of information) are also available from the office of the undersigned personally on payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 400/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the counter (National Institute of Nursing Education, PGIMER, Chandigarh) from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and from 2:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on all working days except Saturdays (On Saturdays, forms will be available from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 Noon).
Those candidates who have already applied under General Category should inform the office of the undersigned mentioning their Form No. and other details if they wish to be considered under OBC category alongwith requisite OBC certificate as per the Central Government format issued vide Notification No. 36012/22/93 – Estt (SCT) dated 08.09.1993 and modified vide Govt. of India Department of Personnel and Training OM No. 36033/3/2004 – Estt(Res) dated 09.03.2004 failing which they will not be considered under OBC category. Those who have applied on the down – loaded form from PGI website should mention their name, father’s name, address, date of birth and telephone number so that their applications can be considered under OBC category (excluding creamy layer). The candidates belonging to SC/ST category, who have already applied, need not to apply afresh.
The closing date for receipt of application will be treated as the date of reckoning for OBC status of the candidate and also, for assuming that the candidate does not fall in the creamy layer.
The application for the same must reach this office on or before 21.05.2008 by 4 P.M. In case of candidates applying for B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) and M.Sc. Nursing the last date for applying through proper channel is also the same.
