NIMCET - 2011
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the 3-year full time Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme offered by the NITs located at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal.
Admissions to the MCA programme will be made through NIT MCA Common Entrance Test 2011 (NIMCET 2011) organized jointly by eleven NITs and being conducted by MANIT Bhopal . Admission will be based on the rank obtained in the NIMCET2011 only.
Eligibility: Indian Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of
12th level with Mathematics and
Bachelor’s Degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized University with any one of the following as one of the subjects
Mathematics
Business Mathematics
Discrete Mathematics
Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science
Business Statistics
Computational Mathematics
Elementary Mathematics
Elementary Statistics
Candidates are required to read the instructions carefully before filling the online application form. They are also required to take a print out of the online filled in online application form and send it by speed post along with copies of mark sheets of Matriculation, High School and Graduation and a demand draft of Rs. 1500/- for open /OBC and Rs.750/- for SC/ST candidates in favor of “NIMCET2011” payable at SBI, MANIT Branch Bhopal at the following address so as to reach on or before Monday, April 11, 2011.
