All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE)

Intro The Ninth All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) was held on 25th April, 2010. 1065100 candidates appeared, out of 1118148 candidates registered, for the examination at 1623 centres located in 86 cities. Approximately, 26816 seats for BE/B.Tech & 936 seats for B.Arch/B.Planning in various institutions, namely National Institutes of Technology, IIITs, Deemed Universities, Technical Institutions, Delhi Technological University, Delhi and other Govt. funded Institutions were offered through this examination A centralized online counselling had been organized for filling up the All India seats by the Central Counselling Board.

To obtain Information Bulletin containing Application Form by post, candidates should send their request to the Assistant Secretary (AIEEE), Central Board of Secondary Education, PS 1-2 Institutional Area, IP Extension, Patparganj, Delhi-110092 along with a bank draft of Rs.650/- for General and OBC Category and Rs. 350/- for SC/ST candidates in favour of The Secretary, CBSE, payable at Delhi/New Delhi and a self-addressed envelope of 12” x 10”. This includes Rs. 50/- towards postal charges. Candidates appearing for both BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/ B.Planning together should send their application form along with additional fee in the form of Demand Draft of Rs. 400/- for General & OBC and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST candidates in favour of Secretary, CBSE payable at Delhi/ New Delhi. Demand draft payable other than Delhi/New Delhi will not be accepted and their candidature will be rejected.
Final list of Institutions admitting students (with intake in each discipline and category as per reservation) through AIEEE-2011 for Counselling shall be available on the CCB website (www.ccb.nic.in) in the month of May/June 2011
The Application Form duly filled in should be sent to THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY(AIEEE), CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION, PS 1-2 INSTITUTIONAL AREA, IP EXTENSION, PATPARGANJ, DELHI-110092 in the printed envelope supplied by the Board so as to reach positively by 20.01.2011. The Application Form will not be received personally in any case. The candidate must retain photocopy of his/her filled in Application Form for future correspondence, if required.
Important Note: The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination shall be limited to 03 (three) uniformly for all the candidates in consecutive years. The candidates passed +2 exam in 2009, 2010 or appearing in +2 in 2011 are only eligible to appear in AIEEE-2011. Candidates passed +2 in 2008 or before or appearing in 2012 are not eligible to appear in AIEEE-2011.
