Eligibility: For MBA, MBA (IB), MBA (HR): A recognized bachelor's degree in any discipline with not less than 50% mark in aggregate or a pass in final examination conducted by ICAI/ICWAI/ICSI or AMIE with 50% marks (See UBS Handbook of Information 2011)
Eligibility for MBA (Biotech): A Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences i.e Biology, Botany, Microbiology, Zoology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Genetics, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Veterinary Sciences, BE/B.Tech (Biotechnology), B.Sc (Bioinformatics), MBBS, BDS and BE (Informatics) with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate (See UBS Handbook of Information 2011) Candidates appearing in final degree examination are eligible to apply and can take the test provisionally. Reservation as per approved norms of Panjab University. Concession of 5% marks in the eligibility requirements of SC/ST/BC candidates.
Admission Procedure: Take Common Admission Test (CAT 2010) to be conducted by IIMs. No separate entrance test will be conducted by UBS or Panjab University for these programmes.
Apply Separately To UBS, Chandigarh: Application form and handbook of information 2011 will be available at post office, sector 14, Panjab University Chandigarh, on payment of Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST candidates) from September 24, 2010 to October 26, 2010) Forms can also be obtained by post up to October 12, 2010 from Manager, Publication Bureau, Panjab University Chandigarh, by enclosing a crossed bank draft of Rs. 2080/- (Rs. 1080/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar Panjab University, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh and a self addressed envelope (30*25 cms) Application form can also be downloaded from website www.ubs.puchd.ac.in and submitted alongwith a bank draft for Rs. 2000/- (1000/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh Completed forms for MBA, MBA (IB), MBA (HR) and MBA (Biotech) must reach Chairman, University Business School, Panjab University Chandigarh - 160014 latest by 4:00 pm on October 26, 2010. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT scores have to appear for Group discussion and personal interview.
