DBHPS introduces the Hindi language to the people, and its aim is to spread the language in the south india.
Much before independence i.e, as early as 1918, Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, aimed at the need to unite the northern & southern states of the country in the greatest interest of integration of the nation. Therefore he founded the Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha at Madras, as Hindi was spoken by the largest section of the people of India. Mahatma Gandhi was the life time President of this institution.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS :
M.A. - (10+2+3 pattern) B.A./B.Sc/B.Com - with Second Language Hindi or any Degree with Rashtrabhasha Praveen Examination or equivalent examination recognized by Sabha.
M.Phil - M.A. Hindi with 55% marks.
P.hd. - M.Phil Hindi with 55 % marks
P.G.Diploma in Translation - (10+2+3 pattern) B.A/B.Sc/B.Com with Translation Language Hindi or A Degree with Rashtrabhasha Praveen Examination or equivalent examination recognized by Sabha.
P.G.Diploma in Journalism - (10+2+3 pattern) B.A/B.Sc/B.Com with Journalism Language Hindi or A Degree with Rashtrabhasha Praveen Examination or equivalent examination recognized by Sabha.
M.Ed - M.A. Hindi , B.Ed. with 50% marks
B.Ed. - (10+2+3 pattern) B.A.,. with second Language Hindi or B.A. Degree with 50% marks in aggregate and 45% in Rashtrabhasha Praveen Examination
SIKSHA SNATHAK Rashtrabhasha Praveen Examination or equivalent examination recognized by Sabha with 50% of marks and a pass in +2 or PUC
