NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENERGY
October 18 – 19, 2008
SCOPE OF CONFERENCE “MITS NCE’08” will provide the participants an excellent opportunity for developing interactions with academia from other institutions of higher academic standards, and people from renowned industries. This will eventually open opportunities to collaborate with many other institutions, and foster synergic partnership between industries and academic institutions and other industries.
OBJECTIVES
• To assess the relevance of renewable energy to the country’s energy challenges and needs, and identifies key barriers.
• Assess renewable technologies related challenges.
• Engage stakeholder in issue-oriented discussions as to share experience and agree on a common plan of action.
PARTICIPATION
This is an interdisciplinary area. Academics, Research students, UG & PG students, Industrialists & Professionals from all disciplines from educational institutions, public & private sectors etc. are expected to participate in this Conference.
SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
Authors may submit the full paper based on original research work in the following format. One hard copy of the full paper, in MS Word, Times New Roman, 12 point, leaving a margin of 30mm on all sides may be submitted to the Organizing Secretary for review. A soft copy of the paper should be emailed to the address: MITSNCE08@mitsuniversity.ac.in. The paper should have an extended abstract not exceeding 500 words. Authors’ names, affiliations and contact addresses should appear only on the cover page. The full paper should be limited to 10 pages including figures and tables. The papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Awards will be given to a few selected best papers.

Notification of Acceptance: 15-9-2008
Submission of Full paper: 30-9-2008
REGISTRATION
Registration of delegates should be made in advance by remitting the registration fee as indicated below along with duly filled registration form.

Faculty of Academic Institutions & R & D Organizations: Rs 1200/-
Students : Rs 500/-
